Runaway Bay Cricket Club is the proud hosts of the very first Last Man Stands T20 World Championships.

Last Man Stands is a worldwide amateur Twenty-20 cricket league, allowing everyday cricketers to be take part in a bit the fun and excitement of the Twenty20 game, whilst also being part of a worldwide event.

The Last Man Stands World Championships will feature sides from across the globe, including Australians, South Africans, English and New Zealand based teams. Runaway Bay has a team which has qualified for the championships, so head down and support our boys in an attempt to win the coveted first prize of US$10,000, and also

The event will be held at our club at Sports Drive, Runaway Bay, from November 18 to 24, 2010 - just before the first Ashes test.

Get down to the club during this week and see the event unfold.  There'll be loads of action going on, so come down and see the event.  Or get your team together and register for the World Championships!
