More Great results from the Bay

The end of this fortnight’s matches saw more great results and great performances from Runaway Bay Teams

In the juniors:

  • It was runs aplenty in the Under 12s with Aadit Kelovkar hitting an unbeaten 71, and Lincoln smith not out on 50, great batting guys.
  • Our under 15s found themselves in some trouble against some excellent Burleigh bowling last week making 68 from their 44 overs with only Dean Oosthuizen making double figures.  To the boy’s credit though, they bowled even better, keeping Burleigh to just 60 to post their second win of the season.  Dylan Foxe taking 5/5 and Liam Newbury with some excellent bowling at the end to finish with 3/11.  Well done boys great effort.

It was runs and wickets aplenty in the Seniors this week.

  • Well done to Travis Hull from 6th Grade Orange who hit an unbeaten century, unfortunately they couldn’t get the points but great batting from Travis who came in at 4/34 and pushed the score up to 199.
  • George Sands from 5th Grade who took 6/25 off his 6 overs, including a hat trick!
  • Kurt Marriott from 3rd Grade who took 7/8 in the first innings of their outright win against Loganholme, there was only 9 wickets to get that innings, well done Kurt

The competition ladders are looking very good after 6 weeks of the season with all senior teams in the top 4 of their competitions – 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 5th Grade Navy and 6th Grade Navy all topping the table.  Keep up the great work!
