Senior fees this year are:

• Full Membership paid up front - $380 per year (Student / Senior Price $280)
• Membership and Weekly Fees - $120 up front + $15 per week
• Social Membership is $10.  More details to come on what the social membership includes

All fees are to be paid by November 30.

Runaway Bay Cricket Club are proud to be one of the clubs which will take part in the inaugural Premier Grade in the Gold Coast Cricket competition in 2011/12.

The Premier Grade setup is a brand new concept to Gold Coast Cricket, consisting of 8 of the strongest clubs on the coast - determined by competition strength, player numbers, financial structure, facilities and a range of other factors.

We are pleased that our proposal was so strong, and that were are considered one of the 8 strongest clubs on the Gold Coast.  With our range of high quality players and coaching staff, we will be competitive in the Premier Grade this coming season.

Member of the 1948 Invicibles, and club legend Sam Loxton was yesterday awarded Honorary Life Membership to the Runaway Bay Cricket Club and Southport Labrador Cricket clubs in an award presentation of the annual Sam Loxton Shield trophy at Runaway Bay.

An avid supporter of both clubs, Sam was awarded life membership after years of dedication and support of the clubs, where he is a regular visitor and can be seen in the "Sam's Corner" location at the Runaway Bay Cricket Club.

Both Runaway Bay president Travis Harker and Southport Labrador Vice President Dean Johnson both spoke about the time Sam has spent with both clubs, and were both very grateful of the support he has provided the clubs over the years.

During the presentation, both clubs announced the presentation of the Sam Loxton Shield, a trophy awarded to the winner of each game between the first grade teams from both clubs, starting with the current round's game.

Long time friend of Sam Ray "Sulli" Sullivan also donated both clubs a picture of the legend to be put on display at the club.
