Navy took on Helensvale, and batted first, looking good at 1/53 after losing Davy Baird in the first over. Runs to Micky Manns (35), Brendon Hillier (13) and Kai McMahon (15) were the shining light in an innings that finished at 92 off 24 overs.
Defending a small total, we went out and bowled very tight and the results came out way. Frenchy, Micky Manns and Cookie each taking 2 wickets, with Craig Young coming in late taking 4/16 to roll Helensvale for 57, a 35 run win for our boys.
