This week, the Orange team had a bye, leaving the Navy team to fly the flag against Southport Labrador at Cooke Murphy 2. Batting first our boys started brilliantly, with Justin Lewis (17) and David Baird (49) getting things started. Kai McMahon hit 14 after hitting a ball into the creek, and Gareth Roberts hit a quick 25. Brendon Hillier (23) and Paul Saunderson (15 not out) finished things off, our boys making 9/163 off their 35 overs.

The boys then bowled very well, with Kai McMahon ripping through the top order picking up 3/25 off his 7 overs. Southport Labrador then fought back however David Cook (3/30 off 7) and Craig Young (2/30 off 7) quickly put things to bed. In the end we won by 43 runs, bowling them out for 120 with 5 overs to go.
