Orange took on Palm Beach at Mallawa and again got off to a good start with an early wicket, however solid partnerships from each of the Palmy players saw them finish at 8/131 off their 35 overs. Standout bowlers were Marto (3/8 off 7 overs) and Allan Grant (3/28 off 7).
Chasing a good sized total, our run chase never really got off the ground, with only 2 scores over 10 (Ash Curtis 12 and Marto an unbeaten 14), and we eventually finished on 68, falling 63 runs short

Senior Presentation night for the bay to be held at the Clubhouse on Saturday April 14 starting from 6:30pm, for a 7pm start. The cost will be $20 payable on the night, and we will be providing some food and entertainment. As always it should be a great night - get along and celebrate the 2011/12 season with your clubmates! |
