Association (GC & QLD): Welcome

Cricket Gold Coast

Cricket Gold Coast caters for cricketers of all ages and ability with grades ranging from 1st to 6th grades for Senior Cricketers played on Saturday afternoons from early October to late March, as well as Over 40s cricket played every 2nd Sunday during the summer season.

There is also a very strong junior program that runs with the competition having teams from Under 10s to Under 17s. Selected member clubs also run the very popular Woolworths Cricket Blast and T20 Blast programs for 5-8-year-olds that want to learn to play cricket.

Cricket Gold Coast also have very strong senior and junior representative cricket programs and take pride in developing future talent to reach as high as they can within cricket.

Cricket Gold Coast always welcomes new players to any of its member clubs around the Gold Coast.

Queensland Cricket

Queensland Cricket endeavours to assist all people associated with cricket at all levels. The major teams that lie under the Queensland Cricket banner are the Queensland Bulls, the Queensland Fire and the Brisbane Heat.

The Queensland Bulls and Queensland Fire are the state’s premier men's and women's cricket teams and the public face of Queensland Cricket. The 11 players that take to the field for each teams are selected from the huge family of cricketing participants and proudly represent tens of thousands of cricketing enthusiasts state-wide. 

The Brisbane Heat are Queensland’s sole representative in the KFC Big Bash League and Rebel Women's Big Bash League. The Heat seek to inspire and entertain the people of Queensland by playing an innovative and passionate style of cricket.

Australian cricket is administered by one national body and its members, the six state and two territory associations.

Cricket Australia is the national governing body for the game in Australia.

Cricket Australia's vision is for cricket to be Australia’s favourite sport, and a sport for all Australians.

Its purpose is to unite and inspire communities through cricket.
