Runaway Bay Development Academy

Providing Junior Cricketers with Elite, Specific Coaching

The RBCC Development Academy was designed to provide junior cricketers looking to get more from their game, with an appropriate level of coaching as an additional program.

The Club relies on volunteer coaches of most junior teams and this academy offers high level coaching in small groups outside of the normal volunteer run training sessions.

Junior Academy: About Us

What's the Academy For?

The purpose of the Runaway Bay Cricket Club Junior Academy is to provide cricketers the opportunity to develop their skills in a smaller group environment, under the guidance of highly qualified coaches.

The academies will be staged at such a time as they provide benefit to the young cricketer by preparing them for the start of the season, Lord Tavernor’s trials and Cricket Gold Coast representative trials.

The Junior Academy will be hosted by high level coaches available to the Club.

This years Academy will run each Sunday for 5 weeks from the 28th of August, from 9am to 11am at the RBCC.

More information on coaches to follow for the 22/23 Academy, but rest assured your kids will have the best from the club in all aspects of the game.

The Club will not profit from any Academy payments. All payments to the Club will be distributed back to the coaches at their agreed rates, calculated when determining the fees for the Academy.
