David Crisafulli (MP)
David has recently started supporting the Club and can be seen at a number of events throughout the year.
David Crisafulli is the Liberal National Party Member for the State seat of Broadwater. He is Shadow Minister for Environment, Science and the Great Barrier Reef as well as Shadow Minister for Tourism. He served as Queensland Minister for Local Government, Community Recovery and Resilience between 2012-2015 following two terms as a Councillor and Deputy Mayor of the Townsville City Council between 2004-2012.
Following the 2015 State Election, David established a small business offering planning and government strategy advice and relocated his family to the Northern Gold Coast. In 2015 he became the first corporate member of the Rotary Club of Hope Island and is very active in local sporting, school and charity causes.
